I bought an open-box Hisense 55U6H (VIDAA) that still looped the floor demo reel. The remote was missing from the box. I used the bottom joystick to reach Settings and shut Store Mode off in under two minutes. On my older 50R6 Roku set, the same job needed a USB mouse because that chassis only has a power button.

Method 1: Use the joystick or control button on the TV
Most Hisense sets hide a joystick under the logo, along the bottom bezel, or on the lower right rear. Tilt to move. Press in for OK. That alone can exit store mode with zero accessories.
- Wake the TV with the physical power button if the screen is off.
- Press the joystick once to open the on-screen menu or input strip.

Method 2: Plug in a USB mouse or keyboard
A basic USB mouse is the most reliable no-remote tool on VIDAA and Google TV. Plug it into a side or rear USB port. Wait a few seconds for a cursor.
- Move the cursor to Settings and click.
- Open System, Support, or About—names vary by OS year.
- Click Store Mode, Demo Mode, or Retail Mode.
- Choose Off, Disable, or Home Mode. Confirm.
- If the TV offers Picture Mode next, pick Standard or Energy Saving instead of Vivid/Store.

Method 4: Control the menu with HDMI-CEC
A Roku stick, Apple TV, Fire Stick, or console on HDMI can help. Its remote often drives the Hisense input through HDMI-CEC. Hisense may label that CEC, HDMI Control, or Simultaneous Power.
- Power on the stick or console with its own remote.
- Switch the TV to that HDMI input using the TV's physical input/joystick button if needed.
- From the stick's settings, look for HDMI-CEC / Control other devices and enable it.
- Try the stick remote's Home and Back keys against the Hisense Settings screens.
- If you can reach Store Mode, turn it off the same way as Method 1.

Method 5: Factory reset when store mode is locked
